Cytoskeletal proteins as glioblastoma biomarkers and targets for therapy: A systematic review

نویسندگان

چکیده

Glioblastoma, the most common primary brain malignancy, is an exceptionally fatal cancer. Lack of suitable biomarkers and efficient treatment largely contribute to therapy failure. Cytoskeletal proteins are crucial in glioblastoma pathogenesis can potentially serve as therapeutic targets. Among them, GFAP, has gained attention potential diagnostic biomarker, while vimentin microtubules considered prospective Microtubules represent one best anti-cancer targets due their critical role cell proliferation. Despite testing clinical trials, efficiency taxanes, epothilones, vinca-domain binding drugs, colchicine-domain drugs ?-tubulin remains be confirmed. Moreover, tumor treating field that disrupts draw because its high called “the fourth cancer modality”. Thereby, involvement cytoskeleton key physiological pathological processes, currently extensively investigated.
